About Us
The Gilet Company was founded in 2019 by Sophie and Jimmy Hibbert. With a passion for country living, it bugged them that most of the quality country clothing on offer through our high streets and online was made abroad. With Jimmy having a background in Bespoke Tailoring and Sophie in travel, they set about sourcing quality manufacturing of the classic country gilet from within the UK. Through continued patience, development and quality control they were soon able to launch The Gilet Company and are very proud to be able to say that it is 100% British made.
